Driving Fun in the Sand - Peake

NOTE:- This trip will be cancelled if a trip leader cannot be found!

Trip Details

  • Friday 16th (pm) - Sunday 18th May
  • Convoy - meet at the Tailem Bend Shell S/Station for an 0900 hrs departure
  • Friday afternoon arrivals ok - call at house on arrival

Requirements:

  • Bring all supplies including water
  • Sand flag

Facilities:

  • Camper trailers okay
  • Long drop toilets and bins
  • Fires permitted  - byo wood

Directions:

  • Freeway to Tailem Bend. (Murray Bridge to Peake – 75km)

  • After the overpass turn left to Pinnaroo

  • 44km to Peake

  • Turn left opposite the tavern

  • Approx 2.5 km from main road on right is the gate “Talinga”

Cost:

  • $10/vehicle/day ($20/vehicle for the weekend)
