Driver Advice

The Land Rover Register offers you the chance to learn how to make the most of your Land Rover and extend your off road driving skills with a three hour seminar followed by two days of driver coaching sessions to be held at Peake (sand driving) and Morgan (hill and rock driving) at the dates shown below.

The driver advice is particularly suited to new members but experienced members are invited to participate as well as partners of experienced members who would like to gain confidence in driving the family Land Rover if called on in an emergency. The course covers the basics of how the various Land Rover models function and how to get the best out of them when driving out bush, be it on unsealed roads, formed tracks or in sand and mud. It also covers vehicle modification and accessories as well as the basics of recovery and emergency repairs.

Each course will start with a three hour theory session held at the Ford Club Rooms (where the Land Rover Register meeting are held) with numbers limited to 20 people per course.
